Mortuary Chamber (Up to -20°C)

Mortuary chamber storage system is designed for storing long term cadaverous storage under cool condition to prevent decomposition. They are quality constructed self contained mortuary refrigerators used in anatomy & forensic department of medical colleges & hospitals. The low temperature allows the body remains to be intact & least affected by decompositon so that the cadaver & its parts can be preserved for long time for teaching purposes. These are latest development in forensic technology offering vast space saving advantage over the conventional type together with greater hygiene demanded by current legislation.

Cabinet construction:
Double walled construction with inner chamber & outer body made of Stainless Steel sheet. High density polyurethane (PUF) insulation of desired thickness is filled between the walls and the whole structure is mounted on heavy duty castors for easy movability. Trays to carry bodies with handles at both ends slide on rollers. Front opening, hinged stainless steel insulated doors lined with gasket, handle and lock arrangement with keys in duplicate for individual dead bodies. A double door system including the transparent inner acrylic door helps in viewing without disturbing the thermal conditions.

Refrigeration:
The refrigeration unit is kept outside the chamber for easy maintenance. Strong and reliable with powerful quick response refrigeration system helps in achieving the desired temperature within a short period of time even at high ambient conditions. A highly efficient hermetically sealed compressor with air cooled condenser having the evaporator inside the chamber is used. A forced air type circulation is used to maintain uniform temperature inside the chamber. Non CFC eco friendly commercially available refrigerant is used.

Fully Automatic Microprocessor Control:
A fully automatic dedicated microprocessor helps in monitoring all the functions of the Mortuary Chamber.

The advanced microprocessor monitors the chamber temperature in real time to prevent body decomposition and to maintain the set value of temperature. The temperature is selectable up to -20°C with a resolution of 0.1°C. The front soft touch keypads permits control settings and access to default settings. An inbuilt feature for setting the compressor rest time is also provided. The microprocessor also monitors the incoming voltage. If the incoming voltage lies in a particular range, the LED will show OK and the refrigeration unit will function. If the incoming voltage is either Low or High, the LED will show Low or High and the refrigeration unit will be switched off for safety reasons. The bright LEDs display the Set and the Read Values of temperature. Both audio and visual alarms alert if there is any deviation of temperature or voltage.

An inbuilt automatic defrost enhances hassle free operation. The complete temperature control panel is mounted on front for easy readability and operation.
